Heli A1 Limited was registered in 2005 by Davin and Susanne Mudford. 
After flying for a number of years for a highly reputable company Davin took the opportunity to progress to the next step of owning his own helicopter business and setting up his own base on rural farmland.

Davin Mudford
Managing Director – Chief Pilot
18 years experience in the aviation industry.
‘C’, 'D', and 'E' cat instructor ratings.  Davin has a wide range of experience in all the services we provide with extensive experience in agricultural and forestry applications.  Davin brings professionalism, enthusiasm and passion to his role.

Susanne Mudford  
CEO
Susanne brings her administration background to Heli A1.  Susanne is a registered legal executive and currently studying towards a Dip. Bus. Studies.

Russell Vickers
Pilot
Russell is a new addition to Heli A1.  He has many years experience in the aviation industry as an aircraft engineer and a pilot.  With extensive knowledge in dry stock farming he is the perfect person to talk too when in need of some spraying or topdressing.

Allan Murtagh 
Quality Assurance Manager/Maintenance Controller.
Allan has a background in aviation and helicopter engineering he used own and operate his own helicopter company.  Heli A1 has a rigorous, internal and external auditing system to ensure aviation industry standards are met and regulations complied with.  This ensures that any Heli A1 client will receive the highest possible standards when engaging any of our helicopters.

We also have a highly trained team of truck drivers and ground crew.
Heli A1 has a training programme in place which ensures all members are kept up to date with new training and refresher training carried out regularly.
