We understand the needs associated with farming and the importance of completing specific tasks within appropriate time frames. Applying chemicals or fertiliser is an expensive exercise and has to be cost effective. We at Heli A1 understand that and with our background in agriculture and also the ability to provide further technical advice from associated professionals, can deliver to satisfy your needs. We are more than happy to come to you to discuss the job and which chemicals will provide the results you wish.

Our helicopter is fitted with the Differential Global Positioning System which is used when applying chemicals and fertilisers, which enables specific areas to be included or excluded, providing more accuracy. Back at the office we  use the Tumonz Professional mapping programme which enables us display your property boundaries over which can overlay our GPS maps. When the pilot returns to base we can then print out a map outlining the job completed.

Spraying

All types of spraying insecticides, fungicides, herbicides. You can provide the chemical or we can provide the chemical which will be charged through your preferred supplier so you don’t have to worry about left over chemical sitting around and you are only charged for what you use.

Fertiliser

All types of fertiliser and mixes can be applied at a variety of rates per hectare. We have our own truck and trailer unit to collect the fertiliser in bulk for you. All you do is provide us with an order number and we will take care of the rest.

Forestry

Conversion of forestry to pasture from desiccation, burning (firelighting) and then grass sowing.

Frost Control

Frost control carried out for orchards. Relocation to be done in daylight hours.
